It Starts in Sandwell

It Starts in Sandwell – Making It Our Business. Businesses across the West Midlands have been involved with the West Midlands Business Festival over 2-13 February, brought to the region by Business Growth West Midlands.

Its theme, ‘Growth Without Limits’, focused on unlocking opportunities and supporting ambitious businesses to succeed and scale. The free events over the two weeks saw more than 1500 businesses across the West Midlands get involved.

Hundreds of businesses from Sandwell were involved in activity from across the two weeks including the successful return of the Black Country Chamber Innovation Expo which saw over 500 people attend and over 170 exhibitors. The Expo included lots of sessions, from ‘Pitch Your Problem’ with local businesses sharing real challenges, to thought-provoking discussions on AI adoption, digital skills, and emerging skills gaps.
